MISSION:
The Soroptimist International of Waikiki strives to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
The Club was Chartered on September 6, 1962 and has grown to 47 members living throughout Oahu. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at the Pacific Club in Honolulu. We are part of an international volunteer organization that is working to improve the lives of women and girls. Our focus is on the island of Oahu and throughout the world. We all enjoy the time spent on these endeavors. We appreciate our fellowship within the Club and our Club’s reaching out to the Community.
Some of our current partners in improving the lives of women and girls are the Domestic Violence Action Center, Salvation Army, Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery, Ho’ola Na Pua, Sacred Hearts’ Academy, a domestic abuse shelter, and the YWCA.
